BB Brows is known for providing luxury cosmetic tattoo treatments enhancing eyebrows, lips, and eyeliner, using only the highest quality pigments and products in the industry. 

Connecticut laws require all body art practitioners complete a 2,000+ hour apprenticeship. Bebe completed over 2,500 hours with 5 years in continued education and trainings specializing in cosmetic tattooing, pigmentology science, and color theory combining science with the art of cosmetic tattooing.

This is our top most asked question. Pain is subjective, but we take the necessary steps to keep you comfortable during your appointment. A little swelling or tenderness is normal on the first day but sub-sides rather quickly usually by the end of your appointment or within a few hours . I have not had any of my clients say cosmetic tattooing hurts. (Knock on wood)

For eyebrow enhancements, if you have ever plucked your eyebrows that is said to feel worse that tattooing them.  

For Lip Blush enhancement it is more of an annoyance feeling than actual pain. Unlike a body tattoo that kind of lingers in “pain” or a burning sensation, the eyebrows and lips actually do not feel this way at all.  I had my own lips blushed by Cori Ryan @Coriryannewyork  in my hometown  NYC of course ;) If you’re not following Cori Ryan you should! Ok back to my experience, I can tell you in all honesty I had zero pain and no numbing was used.  By the way, I wish I did it sooner and so will you!

You will be happy to know I do not use pre-numb or secondary numbing for any of my treatments  and I have not had anyone express pain, but if you are sensitive to pain or do feel uncomfortable during at any point, that is an option to keep you comfortable. I got you! 

Microblading creates hair-like strokes on the eyebrows with a manual hand tool, recommended for very specific skin types. Microblading is not recommended for oily or mature skin.  

Nano Brows is the same concept using different techniques with a tattoo or PMU machine as in an Ombré or a Powder Brow to create hyper realistic hair strokes with no trauma to the skin; while Ombré and Powder Brows create a soft shaded and pixelated makeup looking effect. Both Ombré and Powder brow techniques create a natural-looking eyebrow and is great for all skin types and ages. 

LIP BLUSH

Lip Blush is a Cosmetic Tattoo treatment that can help to restore color loss and shape to the vermillion border due to scaring, lip filler, or just life.  Here at BB Brows, we use the natural undertones of your lips to create a custom pigment mix to give you the most natural and predictable results while enhancing your natural beauty.  

Lip Blush helps to give the illusion of fuller more youthful lips and is for anyone with pale or pink lips pairing beautifully with lip filler; if you feel like you need lip filler after a Lip Blush treatment you can absolutely pair them together staggering appointments between your injector and permanent makeup artist until your desired results are achieved.  

These treatments require multiple sessions to safely build for the most natural results. 

LIP NEUTRALIZATION

Lip Neutralization is for anyone with multi tonal lips, cooler, or dark lips and wish for a more evened out neutral or pink color.  

All Lip Blush treatments require a minimum of two sessions,  neutralizations may require more than two sessions due to the nature of neutralizing the current color of the lips before a lip blush enhancement. It is unpredictable how many neutralization sessions one may need. This varies from client to client. 

Permanent makeup is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women, as well as those with certain medical conditions. We recommend that you consult with your doctor before considering a cosmetic tattoo if you have any medical conditions such as a blood disorder, liver or kidney issues, uncontrolled diabetes,  or heart problems.

New clients must complete medical intake forms before approval for any Cosmetic Tattoo treatments. 

A full Powder Brow, Nano, or Combo Brow treatment with a professional permanent makeup artist using high quality pigments will last 1-3+ years with touch ups as needed to refresh the color. This varies from person to person based on skin type, health, skin care regime, and lifestyle. 

Lip Blush treatments can last up to 2-5+ years without the need for a refresh. This varies from client to client.  Lip Blush heals to a soft natural result, vibrancy is personal preference and can be addressed with touch up sessions.
